Job Description

Hexaware Technologies is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Data Privacy Manager to join our information security and compliance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data privacy laws, assessments, and risk mitigation. This role will support privacy programs across client accounts and internal applications, ensuring adherence to both national and international privacy regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret privacy legislation and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR)
  • Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) on client accounts and internal systems
  • Perform audits of privacy controls to validate effectiveness
  • Guide clients in complying with national and international privacy regulations
  • Establish and report privacy KPIs through dashboards and scorecards
  • Develop and implement privacy training and awareness initiatives
  • Handle data subject requests, privacy incidents, and external communications
  • Support responses to RFPs/RFIs on privacy and data security topics
  • Manage customer and third-party audits related to privacy
Job Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of GDPR and global data privacy regulations
• Experience conducting privacy risk assessments and audits
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Familiarity with privacy compliance frameworks and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling privacy incidents and data subject requests
• Prior involvement in customer/third-party audit processes
• Exposure to creating privacy dashboards and training programs
