Job Description
Infopercept is looking for a skilled VAPT Analyst with hands-on experience in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT). If you have a passion for red teaming and cyber defense, and are eager to work with cutting-edge tools and technologies, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct internal vulnerability assessments and penetration tests for web, mobile, and client applications
- Perform infrastructure, network, and wireless penetration testing
- Support vendor security and risk assessments
- Respond to security incidents and conduct investigations and RCA
- Execute corrective and preventive action plans
- Utilize tools such as Nessus, Burp Suite, Netsparker, Metasploit, and Kali Linux
- Conduct manual application testing and exploit code customization
- Work across Windows and Linux environments
- Audit operating systems, databases, networks, and security technologies
Job Requirements
• Strong knowledge of penetration testing tools and methodologies
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and attack vectors
• Understanding of application security, SSDLC, and DevSecOps
• Solid fundamentals in networking and IT security
• Expertise in Kali Linux and security tools
• Awareness of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and MITRE ATT&CK
• Skills in Open Source Intelligence (OSINT)
Preferred Qualifications
• Hands-on experience in modifying exploit code
• Knowledge of CIS Security Benchmarks
• Familiarity with various programming/scripting languages
• Cybersecurity certifications (CEH, OSCP, or similar) are a plus
