L1 Penetration Tester – Goregaon – 2 to 5 Years Experience
Job Description
Infopercept is hiring a passionate L1 Penetration Tester with a strong foundation in VAPT, red teaming, and cybersecurity best practices. This role offers the opportunity to work at our client site in Goregaon and make a real impact in strengthening digital defenses.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing on Web, Mobile, and Client Applications
- Perform IT Infrastructure, Network, and Wireless penetration testing
- Perform vendor security and risk assessments
- Respond to security incidents and conduct root cause analysis
- Prepare corrective and preventive action plans
- Utilize tools such as Nessus, Burp Suite, Netsparker, Metasploit, and Kali Linux
- Conduct manual testing of web applications
- Work with both Windows and Linux systems
- Review systems against CIS security benchmarks
- Assist in auditing OS, databases, networks, and security tech
Job Requirements
• Strong knowledge of Penetration Testing tools and techniques
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities
• Understanding of SSDLC, DevSecOps, and secure coding practices
• Good grasp of networking, IT security fundamentals, and Kali Linux tools
• Awareness of NIST Cybersecurity and MITRE ATT&CK Framework
• OSINT research and reporting skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in red teaming or ethical hacking certifications (CEH, OSCP, etc.)
• Hands-on experience in secure coding review and exploit development
• Familiarity with scripting or programming (Python, Bash, etc.)
