Head of IT – Qatar – 3 to 9 Years Experience
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Head of IT to lead and manage the organization’s technology infrastructure. This position will play a key role in driving IT strategy, ensuring the security and scalability of systems, and overseeing the integration of new technologies. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a strong technical background, capable of managing complex IT operations and aligning them with the company’s strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and implementation of IT strategies and projects
- Lead and manage IT teams to ensure systems, networks, and infrastructure operate efficiently and securely
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve system performance and security
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Develop and manage IT budgets and resources
- Collaborate with other departments to align IT initiatives with organizational goals
Job Requirements
• Proven experience in a senior IT management role
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, infrastructure, and cybersecurity
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills
• Experience with strategic planning and implementation of IT policies and systems
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP)
• Experience managing IT operations in global or enterprise-level environments
