Network Security Engineer – Abu Dhabi – 2 to 8 Years Experience
Job Description
CyberGate Defense is seeking a Network Security Engineer to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing security solutions to protect against cyber threats.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage network security solutions.
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for anomalies and potential security threats.
- Implement and maintain firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security tools.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability management.
- Collaborate with SOC teams to respond to security incidents and mitigate threats.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Job Requirements
• Immediate joiners or candidates available within 30 days preferred.
• Strong expertise in network security technologies such as firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet), IDS/IPS, SIEM, and VPNs.
• Experience with network protocols, packet analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of threat detection, mitigation techniques, and security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls).
• Hands-on experience with security automation and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Preferred Qualifications
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CCNP Security, CISSP, CEH, CISA).
• Strong understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
