NOC Engineer – Abu Dhabi – 2 to 8 Years Experience
Job Description
CyberGate Defense is looking for a NOC Engineer to monitor, manage, and optimize our network and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring system reliability, resolving network issues, and maintaining optimal performance.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor network and system performance to detect and resolve issues.
- Troubleshoot and escalate network outages, connectivity problems, and system failures.
- Maintain and update network infrastructure, servers, and security tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability of IT services.
- Implement incident response strategies and document resolutions for future reference.
- Perform regular system maintenance, upgrades, and patches.
- Work in a 24/7 operational environment, including shift-based schedules.
Job Requirements
• Immediate joiners or candidates available within 30 days preferred.
• Experience in network monitoring, troubleshooting, and administration.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, and routing protocols.
• Familiarity with NOC tools and monitoring platforms (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, Zabbix).
• Ability to analyze network logs, traffic patterns, and performance metrics.
• Hands-on experience with ITSM and ticketing tools for issue tracking.
Preferred Qualifications
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, CompTIA Network+).
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices in a NOC environment.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
