Job Description
MapleCloud Technologies is hiring a Cybersecurity Analyst to strengthen our security posture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring security systems, detecting threats, and implementing security measures to protect critical infrastructure. Responsibilities:
- Monitor security systems for suspicious activities and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Perform threat detection and response by analyzing security alerts.
- Investigate and analyze security events using SIEM tools.
- Implement and maintain firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS).
- Develop security reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and security best practices.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and defense strategies.
Job Requirements
• 1+ year of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or IT security.
• Proficiency in SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection tools.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, encryption, and threat detection.
• Hands-on experience with incident response and remediation strategies.
• Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, CIS frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Mandatory Certifications: OSCP, CPENT, CRTP, and CEH.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Passion for ethical hacking, cyber defense, and security analysis.
