Application Security (AppSec) Specialist – Gurgaon – 4 to 9 Years Experience
Job Description
eSec Forte® Technologies is seeking a skilled Application Security (AppSec) Specialist with over 4 years of experience to join our team in Gurgaon. This role focuses on advanced security assessments and maintaining the highest standards of application security.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct advanced security assessments of client web applications, APIs, mobile applications (iOS and Android), and thick client applications.
- Utilize OWASP methodologies to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Develop and maintain security testing plans, procedures, and tools.
- Stay updated on the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and threats relevant to application security.
Job Requirements
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience in application security.
• Skills:
• Expertise in web application, API security, mobile security, and thick client application security.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top Ten and other industry standards.
• Hands-on experience with security tools like Burp Suite, ZAP, and mobile application security tools.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications like OSCP, CEH, or equivalent are a plus.
