Job Description
We are hiring a Data Governance Specialist for a government entity based in Dubai. This role involves the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and frameworks to ensure the proper management, security, and quality of data. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in data governance and a strong understanding of data security and compliance frameworks.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain data governance policies, procedures, and frameworks.
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure proper data management practices are followed.
- Conduct data audits and assessments to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Support data-related projects and initiatives across the organization.
Job Requirements
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Data Governance.
• Previous UAE experience is required.
• Solid understanding of data management, security, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
• Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or similar certifications.
• Experience working with government entities is a plus.
