Heritage Cyber World is seeking a highly experienced Senior Incident Response Expert to join our team in Bangalore. This role involves leading and managing advanced security incidents, developing defense strategies, and mentoring junior analysts. Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage security incidents from detection to resolution.
  • Conduct advanced malware research and develop proactive defense strategies.
  • Perform threat hunting to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Contribute to bug bounty programs and collaborate with security researchers.
  • Work with law enforcement on cybercrime investigations.
  • Share threat intelligence and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior analysts and support the development of the incident response team.
Job Requirements

• 12–15+ years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on incident response, malware research, and threat hunting.
• Strong expertise in bug bounty programs and cybersecurity tools (e.g., SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS).
• Proven experience collaborating with law enforcement.
• Proficiency in network traffic analysis and system hardening.
• Relevant security certifications such as GCIH, GREM, CISSP, or OSCP.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud security, DevSecOps, container security, and APT tactics.
• Familiarity with standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR compliance.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
