Job Description
We are hiring a skilled SOC L2 Engineer to join our team at ValueLabs. This role requires a highly technical, hands-on professional capable of serving as the primary point of contact for senior management, customers, and other key stakeholders. If you have a strong understanding of SOC processes, hacker methodologies, system vulnerabilities, and other key indicators of attacks, this is a great opportunity to advance your career.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage security operations for global teams within the MSSP, MDR, and Security Service space.
- Validate and manage security events escalated from L1.
- Provide support for L2 and L3 level tasks.
- Communicate insights on the current threat landscape and evolving trends to customers.
- Offer thought leadership on security technologies, deployment strategies, capability enhancements, and program maturity.
Job Requirements
• Hands-on experience with Next-Generation Antivirus (NGAV), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools, such as Carbon Black, SentinelOne, etc.
• Strong knowledge of SOC processes and hacker methodologies.
• Proficiency in handling escalated security events and supporting L2/L3 tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience leading security operations for global teams within MSSP, MDR, or Security Service environments.
• Knowledgeable about the latest trends and threats in cybersecurity.
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and internal teams.
