Infopercept Consulting Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled SOC Analyst to join our team in Ahmedabad. The SOC Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security events to identify potential threats and respond to incidents swiftly. This role requires someone with a strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and a proactive approach to protecting company assets.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor security alerts and events in real-time to identify potential threats.
- Investigate and analyze security incidents, escalating them as necessary.
- Collaborate with other team members to mitigate and contain security threats.
- Document incidents, findings, and response actions accurately and thoroughly.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and generate reports.
- Provide recommendations for improving security posture based on incident analysis.
Job Requirements
• 1 to 2 years of experience as a SOC Analyst or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in SIEM tools and threat detection technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of networking protocols, operating systems, and security principles.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and handle multiple incidents effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent.
• Experience with incident response and threat intelligence.
