Job Description
Samay Infosolutions is looking for experienced SOC Admins to oversee and manage our Security Operations Center (SOC). This role involves maintaining the overall performance of the SOC, ensuring the security tools and technologies are effectively implemented, and working closely with SOC Analysts and other teams to safeguard our clients’ networks.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the overall SOC infrastructure and tools.
- Monitor security tools and systems, ensuring proper functionality.
- Collaborate with SOC Analysts to detect, respond, and mitigate security incidents.
- Ensure timely updates, patches, and maintenance of security systems.
- Manage security policies, processes, and best practices within the SOC.
- Provide detailed reports and analysis of SOC operations and incidents.
Job Requirements
• 2 to 3 years of experience in SOC administration or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of SOC tools such as SIEM, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Proficiency in managing network security systems and technologies.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining security policies and processes.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+.
• Experience in handling security incidents and ensuring SOC efficiency.
