Job Description
International Deployment Group (IDG) is seeking a proactive and skilled Security Operation Center Analyst to join our team in Mumbai. As a SOC Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents to safeguard our infrastructure from cyber threats.
Responsibilities:
- Continuously monitor security alerts and events to detect, analyze, and assess potential security incidents.
- Coordinate and execute incident response procedures to contain, mitigate, and recover from security incidents.
- Assist in vulnerability assessments and remediation efforts, ensuring systems are patched and secured against known vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with teams to improve security processes and enhance overall security posture.
- Provide regular reports and updates on security incidents and response efforts.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Familiarity with SIEM solutions and security monitoring tools.
• Strong understanding of common cyber threats, attack vectors, and malware.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with incident response and security event analysis.
• Certifications like CEH, CISSP, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
