Nomad’s Tech is seeking a skilled and experienced Security Engineer to join our dynamic team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with a passion for protecting systems and networks from potential threats. This role requires someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain security protocols and systems.
  • Monitor networks for security breaches and investigate violations.
  • Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
  • Develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure system architecture.
  • Stay updated on the latest security trends and threats.
Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3 to 9 years of experience in cybersecurity or a similar role.
• Proficiency in security frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
• Strong understanding of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and encryption protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM.
• Experience with cloud security platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
