Job Description
We are actively hiring for a Network Security Specialist to join our team at COMnet Solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, deploying, and managing network security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, and endpoint security solutions. Additionally, the candidate should be capable of developing and implementing network security policies, protocols, and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage network security infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint security.
- Develop and implement comprehensive network security policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure the integrity of the network.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that network security practices are integrated into all aspects of the IT infrastructure.
Job Requirements
• 3 to 5 years of experience in network security.
• Proficiency in managing firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint security.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and security best practices.
• Experience in developing and implementing network security policies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar are a plus
