Job Description
We are seeking a SOC Engineer (Network Operations Security Engineer) to join our team at Telecom Egypt. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and managing our network operations, ensuring security measures are in place, and responding to security incidents effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor network systems for security breaches and anomalies.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement and maintain security protocols.
- Analyze security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Assist in the configuration and maintenance of security tools and technologies.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in network security or related areas.
• Knowledge of network security protocols and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Certification in network security (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
• Familiarity with various operating systems and network devices.
