Job Description

Securenass is hiring a SOC Analyst T1 to join our team in the Makkah/Jeddah region, Saudi Arabia. We are seeking a dedicated professional with a background in engineering, computer science, or a related field to contribute to our 24×7 Security Operations Center (SOC).

Responsibilities:
  • Actively participate in 24×7 SOC operations.
  • Proactively monitor and provide near-real-time cybersecurity status and reports.
  • Monitor SIEM resources for any component failures.
  • Perform initial triage/investigation of alerts to identify false positives, policy violations, intrusion attempts, and compromises.
  • Escalate triaged alerts to Tier II Analysts for deeper analysis and review.
Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Security or relevant IT certification is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP protocols.
• Deep packet and log analysis skills.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of network security technologies (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, Antivirus, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of SIEM technologies.
• Basic knowledge in threat intelligence.
• Knowledge in incident handling.
• Basic knowledge in cyber-attacks.
• Good analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant IT or cybersecurity certifications.
• Experience in a similar SOC role.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
