Cyber Security Analyst [Application Security] – Goregaon – 1 to 3 Years Experience
Job Description
We are looking for a Cyber Security Analyst with hands-on experience in Application Security and VAPT to support security testing across web, mobile, API, and thick-client applications. This role involves working closely with development and DevOps teams to identify vulnerabilities and ensure secure application deployment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform VAPT and application security assessments
- Conduct secure code reviews and security validations
- Support change requests (CRs), production releases, and BAU security activities
- Identify and document vulnerabilities with remediation recommendations
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to fix security issues
- Ensure alignment with OWASP Top 10 and secure SDLC practices
Job Requirements
• 1–3 years of experience in Application Security or VAPT
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Burp Suite, Nessus, Nmap, and OWASP ZAP
• Strong understanding of web, application, and API security fundamentals
• Knowledge of common vulnerabilities and attack techniques
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications such as CEH, eJPT, or OSCP
• Exposure to DevSecOps and cloud security concepts
• Familiarity with secure coding practices
• Good communication and collaboration skills
