Cyber Security Analyst – Remote – 3 to 7 Years Experience
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our client’s team in a fully remote setup. The ideal candidate will play a key role in protecting critical systems and infrastructure by monitoring threats, analyzing vulnerabilities, and implementing effective security controls.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents
- Manage and configure firewalls and intrusion detection systems (IDS)
- Assess and secure network architecture and security zones
- Support system, middleware, and application security administration
- Identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures
- Ensure compliance with security policies and standards
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to strengthen overall security posture
- Stay updated on emerging threats and cybersecurity trends
Job Requirements
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security
• Strong knowledge of network security zones, firewalls, and IDS
• Solid understanding of OSI model (Layers 1–7)
• Experience in systems, middleware, and application administration
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CEH, Security+)
• Experience with SIEM tools and incident response
• Familiarity with cloud security concepts
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
