Job Description
Cognizant is expanding its Cybersecurity and Identity teams and is hiring experienced Check Point Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). This is an urgent requirement for senior professionals with deep technical expertise and hands-on implementation experience.
The ideal candidate will lead technical delivery, support complex deployments, and provide expert-level guidance on Check Point security solutions within enterprise environments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead implementation and configuration of Check Point security solutions
- Provide high-level technical expertise in network security architecture
- Support deployment, migration, and optimization of firewall solutions
- Troubleshoot complex security issues across enterprise environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure infrastructure design
- Guide junior engineers and support technical delivery execution
- Maintain security best practices and compliance standards
Job Requirements
• 7–15 years of experience in Network Security or Cybersecurity roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Check Point firewall technologies
• Proven ability to lead technical delivery and enterprise-level implementations
• Deep understanding of firewall policies, VPNs, NAT, and network segmentation
• Experience in troubleshooting and performance tuning of security devices
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CCSA, CCSE, CISSP)
• Experience with Identity and Access Management solutions
• Knowledge of related technologies such as Entra ID or Saviynt
• Experience working in large enterprise or managed service environments
