Job Description
INFOCUS IT Consulting (P) Ltd. is looking for a passionate VAPT Intern to join our cybersecurity team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and security hardening across networks, applications, and cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting vulnerability scans and penetration testing.
- Support in identifying, analyzing, and reporting security risks.
- Help with web and mobile application security assessments (OWASP Top 10).
- Participate in system hardening and log analysis activities.
- Collaborate with senior security engineers on live client projects.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP, and OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with tools like Kali Linux, Burp Suite, Nmap, Nessus, and Wireshark.
• Strong analytical mindset and eagerness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
• CEH certification or equivalent entry-level cybersecurity certification.
• Exposure to scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
