VAPT Consultant [Freelance] – Remote – 4 to 9 Years Experience
Job Description
Infopercept is seeking an experienced Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) Consultant for a remote 4-month freelance project. You’ll work with a passionate cybersecurity team to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities across complex digital environments for global clients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments on infrastructure, web applications, APIs, and cloud environments.
- Perform manual and automated source code reviews.
- Utilize tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Nessus, and similar platforms.
- Prepare detailed, actionable reports and communicate findings directly with clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure security best practices are implemented.
Job Requirements
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in VAPT.
• Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 and SANS Top 25.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Professional certifications such as CEH, OSCP, or eJPT.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Prior experience working in freelance or client-facing consulting roles.
