SOC Engineer [Level 1] – Delhi NCR – 2 to 8 Years Experience
Job Description
We are looking for a motivated SOC Engineer – Level 1 to join our Security Operations Center (SOC). This role is ideal for professionals with foundational SOC experience who are eager to monitor security events, respond to incidents, and grow within a high-security environment.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor security alerts and events on a 24×7 basis
- Perform initial triage and analysis of security incidents
- Respond to basic incidents following defined SOC procedures
- Operate SIEM and security monitoring tools
- Escalate complex incidents to Level 2/3 teams
- Maintain incident logs and documentation
- Support continuous improvement of SOC processes
Job Requirements
• First-class Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or IT
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on SOC experience
• Basic to intermediate understanding of SIEM and threat intelligence
• Knowledge of security monitoring and incident response processes
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and best practices
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications such as Security+, CompTIA CySA+, CISSP, CISM, CTIA, CRISC, GCIA, or equivalent
• Experience working in SOC or high-security environments
