SOC Analyst [Internship] – Kolkata – Freshers
Job Description
We are expanding our cybersecurity team and looking for motivated candidates for the SOC Analyst Internship role. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are ready to relocate and join within one month. You will gain hands-on exposure to SIEM technologies, incident investigation, event analysis, and cybersecurity frameworks.
Responsibilities:
- Perform log analysis, event analysis, and incident investigation using SIEM tools.
- Support in creating and updating rules and policies for effective incident detection.
- Assist in incident remediation, tracking, and follow-up with teams and stakeholders.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to security events and incidents.
Job Requirements
• Basic understanding of SIEM technologies.
• Knowledge of incident investigation and remediation lifecycle.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as the Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Understanding of security event correlation and analytics tools.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Coursework or certification in cybersecurity (optional but helpful).
• Enthusiasm to learn and grow in security operations.
