Security Analyst [VAPT] – Ahmedabad – 1 to 5 Years Experience
Job Description
TechDefence is hiring skilled and motivated Security Analysts specializing in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT). This role is ideal for cybersecurity professionals who are passionate about identifying security weaknesses and strengthening application and network defenses. You will work closely with security teams and clients to deliver high-quality security assessments.
Responsibilities:
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on web applications, mobile applications, networks, and APIs
- Identify, analyze, and validate security vulnerabilities using manual and automated tools
- Prepare clear and detailed vulnerability assessment and penetration testing reports
- Conduct remediation validation and re-testing activities
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to explain findings and security recommendations
- Stay updated with the latest security threats, tools, and best practices
Job Requirements
• 1–5 years of hands-on experience in VAPT
• Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25, and common attack vectors
• Experience with both manual and automated VAPT tools
• Good knowledge of network protocols, authentication mechanisms, and secure coding practices
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with client-facing security assessments
• Exposure to remediation validation and security re-testing
• Certifications or hands-on labs in penetration testing or application security (preferred)
