Security Analyst [Full Tabletop Exercise] – Kuala Lumpur – 5 to 12 Years Experience
Job Description
Skill Quotient is hiring an experienced Security Analyst with strong exposure to full tabletop exercises. This role focuses on evaluating cybersecurity readiness, testing incident response capabilities, and strengthening organizational security posture. Candidates available to join immediately or within 30 days are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and participate in full tabletop security and incident response exercises
- Assess incident response plans, playbooks, and escalation procedures
- Identify gaps, risks, and improvement areas during simulations
- Coordinate with SOC, IT, risk, and business teams
- Document findings, reports, and corrective action plans
- Support ongoing security operations and real incident scenarios
- Ensure alignment with cybersecurity best practices and frameworks
Job Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or security operations
• Hands-on experience with tabletop exercises and incident simulations
• Strong understanding of cyber threats and response processes
• Good analytical, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, or similar security frameworks
• Relevant certifications such as GCIH, CEH, CISSP, or equivalent
• Experience working in SOC or IR environments
