Penetration Tester – Remote – 5 to 11 Years Experience
Job Description
Exact Solution Electronics is hiring an experienced Penetration Tester to strengthen the security of its web applications, APIs, and cloud infrastructure. This role is suited for seasoned security professionals who excel at real-world attack simulations and vulnerability discovery. You will work closely with engineering and compliance teams to improve overall security posture and resilience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform penetration testing on web applications, APIs, and cloud environments
- Identify, exploit, and clearly document security vulnerabilities
- Develop proof-of-concepts and custom exploitation scripts
- Conduct testing aligned with OWASP Top 10 and industry best practices
- Collaborate with engineering teams to remediate security findings
- Support compliance and audit requirements such as PCI-DSS, SOC 2, and ISO 27001
- Continuously research emerging threats and attack techniques
Job Requirements
• 5+ years of hands-on penetration testing experience
• Strong proficiency with tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, and SQLMap
• Experience with API security, authentication mechanisms, and AWS environments
• Ability to read and write scripts (Python, JavaScript, or similar languages)
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications such as OSCP, GXPN, or OSCE (strongly preferred)
• Other accepted certifications include CEH, GPEN, GWAPT, eWPT, or eCPPT
• Experience with cloud-native security testing and secure architecture reviews
