L1 SOC Analyst – Kolkata – 0 to 2 Years Experience
Job Description
We are expanding our cybersecurity team and looking for enthusiastic candidates for the L1 SOC Analyst position. This role is ideal for individuals ready to relocate and onboard within one month. You will work closely with cybersecurity experts and gain exposure to SIEM tools, incident investigation, and threat detection.
Responsibilities:
- Perform log analysis, event analysis, and incident investigation using SIEM technologies.
- Support the development and updating of rules and policies for effective incident detection.
- Assist with incident remediation, tracking, and coordinating with concerned teams and stakeholders for closure.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to incidents and security events.
Job Requirements
• Experience or hands-on knowledge in incident investigation and remediation.
• Understanding of SIEM tools, event correlation, and analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of the Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK Framework.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to follow processes and collaborate with internal teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications or coursework in cybersecurity (optional but beneficial).
• Basic experience with security monitoring tools and SOC environments.
