Job Description
TechDefence Labs is looking for passionate and enthusiastic Security Analyst Interns eager to begin their careers in cybersecurity. This internship provides hands-on exposure to real-world security operations, ethical hacking, and vulnerability assessment while working alongside experienced professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing vulnerability assessments and penetration testing (VAPT).
- Support SOC operations by monitoring security events and incidents.
- Research and document cyber threats, exploits, and emerging trends.
- Contribute to security awareness and training initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior analysts on ongoing cybersecurity projects.
Job Requirements
• Basic understanding of networking, information security, and ethical hacking concepts.
• Familiarity with tools like Burp Suite, Nmap, Wireshark, or Metasploit is a plus.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic cybersecurity environment.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or Cybersecurity.
• Completion of any cybersecurity training or certification (CEH, Security+, etc.) is an advantage.
• Keen interest in pursuing a long-term career in Information Security.
