Firewall Log Analyst [Cyber Security] – India – 0 to 8 Years Experience
Job Description
Zynex Technologies is hiring motivated Cyber Security professionals for the role of Firewall Log Analyst. This role focuses on monitoring, analyzing, and investigating firewall logs to detect suspicious activities, support incident response, and strengthen network security operations.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze firewall logs to identify security threats and anomalies
- Investigate suspicious traffic, policy violations, and potential intrusions
- Correlate firewall events with SIEM alerts and other security tools
- Support incident response and threat detection activities
- Assist in firewall rule reviews and policy optimization
- Document findings, incidents, and remediation actions
- Collaborate with SOC, network, and security teams
Job Requirements
• Graduate or Postgraduate degree (any stream) with an interest in Cybersecurity
• Basic understanding of firewalls, network security, and TCP/IP concepts
• Familiarity with security monitoring and log analysis
• Awareness of common cyber threats and attack techniques
• Good analytical, communication, and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Exposure to firewall technologies and network security tools
• Knowledge of SIEM platforms such as Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight
• Understanding of SOC operations, L1/L2 monitoring, and incident handling
• Basic scripting or automation knowledge (Python preferred)
• Relevant cybersecurity training or certifications
